Can the cable between the video chipset and the LCD Panel in a laptop be extended?
I want to build a laptop alarm clock, but having the entire laptop and LCD on the table would be too large.
I would like to mount only the LCD Panel and inverter in a picture frame and have the rest of the computer under the bed or in the drawer of the night table. The only problem is that the cable is only about 10 inches long if that.
This is a little bit too much DIY (Do It Yourself). You are just going to have to figure this out on your own.
