Is it possible to get into fairly good shape with no equipment at home?
Is it possible for me to do work outs at home that will give me fairly good abs and arms? I do not expect any easy work outs, fast ones (abs in a week, etc) or for these alone to get me “chisled features”. But I wouldn’t mind to be in a bit better shape. I am not over weight, I am at about 14% body fat.
I’m trying to determine if by equipment you mean machines or everything ranging from dumbells and up. Commercials on TV portray that machines are needed to acquire a great looking and defined body. It is not true at all. If you get dumbells even just for the little extra weight. That will help. Do your situps, pushups, plenty of running. You could also try yoga as that has been very popular and effective. The most important thing is to stick to your schedule. At the beginning, it’s easy to miss a few days and get far behind. It’s dedication and motivation.
